Can we move our data from another CRM to HubSpot?

How a data migration works.

Yes. Whether you are coming from Salesforce, Pipedrive, Lime, Dynamics, SuperOffice or Excel, you can move your data to HubSpot.

What can be moved?

We normally move contacts, companies, deals, tickets, notes, activities and custom fields. Associations between records come along too, for example which contacts belong to which company.

How it works

  1. We map out what data you have and what actually needs to come along.
  2. We clean the data: remove duplicates, outdated contacts and fields that are not used.
  3. We map the fields in the old system to HubSpot's properties.
  4. We run a test import and you check the result.
  5. We run the final import, ideally when you switch over to HubSpot.

Tips

See the migration as a chance to clean up. Moving old and incorrect data makes HubSpot feel messy quickly. How long the migration takes depends on the amount of data and how many systems are involved, but it is often part of the implementation.
