Where is the data stored?
HubSpot has a data center in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). New customers in Europe normally get their portal in the EU data center. Portals created before the data center existed may be hosted in the US. You can see where your portal is hosted in HubSpot's settings under Account information.
GDPR
HubSpot supports GDPR and offers a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) to all customers. HubSpot includes features to:
- Collect and document consent through forms
- Manage email subscription types
- Permanently delete contacts on request
- Export data about a person
Your responsibility
HubSpot provides the tools, but as the data controller you decide how they are used. Make sure you have a clear legal basis for the data you collect. We are happy to help you set up the GDPR settings correctly.
